Job Summary
This role involves securing critical digital infrastructure within the public sector, focusing heavily on network security in a complex threat landscape. The System Integrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously optimizing Zero Trust Access models to minimize unauthorized access risks. Key daily tasks include conceptualizing, implementing, and operating Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) and contributing to the development and implementation of security strategies for cloud environments. A successful candidate will possess multi-year professional experience in network security, deep expertise in WAFs, Zero Trust concepts, and knowledge of standards like BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO/IEC 27001. Required Skills
Education
Successful completion of higher education (Bachelor, Diploma FH) in IT, or completed vocational training in IT, or equivalent qualification (e.g., IT-specific qualification), or comparable multi-year practical experience in the IT field.
Experience
- Multi-year professional experience in network security
- Experience focusing on Web Application Firewalls, Cloud Security, and Zero Trust concepts
- Experience in creating and implementing network security concepts
- Experience with current firewall technologies (NGFW, Application Firewalls) and products (Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, or Cisco Firepower)
