Job Summary

This permanent, full-time Design Engineer role is focused on the development and construction of critical components for the production of current and voltage transformers. Key responsibilities include the design of casting molds, specialized tools, and production fixtures. Day-to-day tasks involve creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, such as detailed drawings, accurate parts lists, and standardized work instructions, covering the entire process from initial quotation to final delivery. A core function is the continuous improvement and cost optimization of existing technical solutions, ensuring designs meet evolving customer requirements. The role demands strong collaboration, requiring communication with external suppliers and internal teams across Sales, Product Management, and Purchasing, often involving cross-location project participation. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and is proficient in Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD.
