Design Engineer | Konstrukteur (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position seeks a Design Engineer to focus on the development and construction of specialized molds, tools, and fixtures essential for manufacturing current and voltage transformers. Day-to-day responsibilities include the creation and meticulous maintenance of all necessary technical documentation, such as engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and detailed work instructions. A core component of the role is driving continuous improvement, including cost optimization of existing technical solutions, and adapting designs based on specific customer requirements. The role requires strong cross-functional communication with suppliers and internal teams across sales, product management, and procurement, alongside active participation in site-spanning project work. Candidates must possess a Master’s or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering and proficiency in CAD tools like Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
