Job Summary

This role involves actively contributing to the central coordination office of the Digital Transformation Network (DTN), a major project focused on enhancing digital processes across Lower Saxony's university administration. The specialist will be responsible for supporting the coordination and implementation of cross-university IT projects in close collaboration with internal and external partners. A significant part of the role involves comprehensive public relations, including managing social media presence, drafting press releases, and creating informational materials. Day-to-day activities also include conceiving, organizing, and executing various events such as conferences, summits, and workshops, alongside creating and maintaining website content using Content Management Systems (CMS). The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree, possesses initial experience in IT project coordination, and has proven expertise in event organization and PR, coupled with a strong affinity for digital topics and familiarity with university structures. This is a unique opportunity to actively shape the future digital landscape of higher education administration in Germany.
