Job Summary

This role involves acting as a specialized Engineer and Expert for the inspection and assessment of technical building systems, such as ventilation, CO warning, smoke and heat extraction, and fire extinguishing systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently conducting concept and plan reviews, performing construction-accompanying expert inspections, and drafting detailed reports and expert opinions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating quotations, managing existing client relationships, and acquiring new customers. Key qualifications include a degree in Supply Engineering, Mechatronics, or Building Services Engineering, professional experience in planning or construction management within these fields, and foundational knowledge of relevant building and fire protection regulations. This position requires strong communication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a commitment to continuous professional development, including working towards becoming a certified inspection expert.

Required Skills

Education

Degree (Dipl.-Ingenieur, Bachelor, or Master) in Supply Engineering, Mechatronics, or Building Services Engineering, or a comparable field; or recognized expert status in supply and building services technology

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning, project execution, or construction management in supply engineering, mechatronics, or building services engineering (ideally multi-year)
  • Initial knowledge of relevant ordinances, standards, regulations, and guidelines in building and fire protection technology
