This role involves ensuring the stable operation and continuous development of mission-critical applications within the public sector, supporting the digitalization efforts of the company. The specialist will be responsible for application management, including monitoring, logging (using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Nagios), and adhering to agreed-upon SLAs. Key daily tasks include analyzing technical requirements, troubleshooting system disturbances, developing sustainable solutions, and systematically documenting processes. The ideal candidate must possess experience managing applications on both Windows and/or Linux servers, have knowledge of various databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL), web servers (e.g., IIS, Apache), and load balancers. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash for automation is essential, alongside very good German language skills for effective stakeholder communication. This position offers an opportunity to actively shape public sector digitalization and work flexibly within Germany.
