Job Summary

This role involves joining a seven-person team within the 'Infrastructure as a Service' department, contributing significantly to the secure, smooth, and efficient operation of a critical data center. The IT System Engineer will focus on preparing, optimizing, and planning hardware and infrastructure installations, ensuring the future viability of the critical infrastructure through precise capacity planning and structured, tool-supported documentation. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating system installations/removals, developing technical solutions for the data center, and handling changes and disruptions according to ITIL processes. The position requires strong technical expertise in electrical and cabling technology, experience with DCIM tools, and the ability to coordinate external service providers and manage maintenance schedules, making it ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in systems integration or electrical engineering.
