Job Summary

The Citrix Load Balancing Engineer plays an essential role within the Infrastructure as a Service IT department, focusing on the administration, maintenance, and continuous development of core IT infrastructure services for a leading German insurance group. Daily tasks involve the setup and maintenance of Load Balancer systems primarily utilizing Citrix products. A key aspect of the role is ensuring quality, stability, and future-proofing the IT infrastructure through rigorous fault analysis, troubleshooting, and detailed documentation creation. The engineer will also collaborate closely with orchestration and automation teams to streamline workflows. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or relevant IT vocational training, coupled with fundamental knowledge of Citrix ADC (or comparable solutions like F5 or Kemp) and expertise in SSL/TLS protocols. Experience

  • Professional experience in administration, setup, and maintenance of Load Balancer systems based on Citrix products
  • In-depth knowledge of handling Citrix ADC or similar Load Balancing solutions (Kemp, F5, NSX)
  • Experience with SSL and TLS
  • Familiarity with Content Switch and Reverse Proxy concepts
  • Experience in troubleshooting with network analysis tools (advantageous)
