Job Summary

Join a leading German insurance and building society firm as a Software Architect, driving the efficiency and quality of software development and integration across the application landscape. Working within the 'Development and Integration Services' cross-sectional IT department, you will collaborate with a 15-person team to define concepts and technical solutions for application integration and backend development, primarily supporting the large community of Java developers. Key responsibilities include actively shaping the overall software architecture, selecting and implementing suitable Java-based technologies (including JakartaEE, Quarkus, and Apache Kafka), and providing expert support through guidelines and frameworks. You will also contribute operationally to modern IT projects by designing and implementing integration solutions.
