Job Summary

This role involves taking a central position in developing and maintaining the entire output (letters/forms) for Debeka Life Insurance. The COBOL Developer will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including developing, testing, and documenting software components and interfaces to databases and system environments. A key focus is collaborating closely with business analysts and specialized departments to implement requirements, analyze and resolve software application disturbances, and ensure customer-friendly correspondence. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in (Business) Informatics or equivalent qualifications, coupled with practical experience in COBOL programming and M/TEXT (Classic/TONIC). Success requires a structured, solution-oriented approach, a willingness to learn, and strong teamwork skills.
