Job Summary

This fixed-term role, based in Penzberg, offers a unique opportunity to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH through temporary employment. The Research Scientist/Engineer will independently manage complex analytical tasks, focusing on the planning, execution, and documentation of analyses utilizing advanced techniques such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and ESI-Mass Spectrometry (ESI-MS). Day-to-day responsibilities include optimizing and developing new analytical methods, performing rigorous method validations and transfers, and evaluating results using IT systems to generate comprehensive reports, regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Food Chemistry, or Pharmacy, coupled with substantial experience in HPLC development and analysis. Fluency in German is mandatory, and good English skills are highly desirable.
