Job Summary

This role involves leading the critical transition from SAP PLM to Teamcenter PLM within locomotive engineering across the Munich and Erlangen sites, focusing specifically on the transportation technology sector. The Project Manager will be responsible for the full implementation lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery regarding benefit realization, quality standards, deadlines, and budget control. Day-to-day tasks include close collaboration with engineering staff to gather functional requirements, identify training needs, and ensure a smooth transition within the specialist engineering departments. The ideal candidate possesses a Master’s degree in a technical or IT field, extensive experience managing IT solution projects (especially tool implementation), and a strong background in PLM process optimization. Proficiency in both German and English is required for effective communication within international, cross-site teams.
