Job Summary
This critical role as a Switching Engineer in the Grid Control Center involves the secure and efficient management of complex energy supply networks, primarily focusing on medium-voltage grids. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing complex network situations, implementing measures to ensure grid stability, and optimizing supply security. A key focus is the integration and control of renewable energies (Redispatching) and supporting the digitalization of infrastructure. The engineer will also conduct fault analyses, document results, and use a training simulator to prepare the team for emergency scenarios. This position requires a strong background in electrical or energy engineering, analytical thinking, and the ability to make clear decisions under stress, contributing significantly to the region's energy transition and sustainable supply.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in the control and monitoring of energy supply networks (Ideally)
- Experience in handling complex technical systems
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work weekends (Shift work required)
