Job Summary

This long-term role in Berne is ideal for a qualified Electronics Technician looking to specialize in the dynamic field of yacht and shipbuilding maintenance. The core responsibilities involve comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of critical shipboard machinery and systems, including crane and lighting installations. You will be responsible for establishing electrotechnical connections, installing temporary working power and lighting, and ensuring all operating equipment complies with stringent safety regulations. Candidates must possess a completed relevant apprenticeship (e.g., Industrial Electronics Technician) and initial professional experience. While not mandatory, familiarity with KNX and PLC systems is highly advantageous. This position offers excellent benefits, including above-tariff pay, holiday and Christmas bonuses, and the potential for direct employment with a modern, internationally positioned client, all within a standard 35-hour work week.
