Job Summary
This permanent, full-time position within the City of Singen's Budget and Levies Department offers the opportunity to actively shape the city's financial future. The Financial Specialist will execute core municipal finance tasks, including processing allocations under the Financial Equalization Act (FAG) and managing subsidy matters, such as the financial settlement of various public funding programs. A significant component of the role involves handling tax affairs where the municipality is the tax debtor. Furthermore, the specialist will provide essential support in the preparation of the annual budget plan and the year-end financial statements. Candidates must possess a degree in Public Management or a comparable administrative qualification, coupled with a strong service orientation, flexibility, and a high degree of responsibility, making this role ideal for a dedicated public finance professional.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor of Arts in Public Management, Diploma in Administrative Science (FH), comparable university degree, or qualification as a certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt)
Experience
- Professional experience in financial administration or public management
