Job Summary
The Federal Real Estate Agency (BImA) is seeking an Operations Manager/Engineer to join the Facility Management (New Construction) division in Berlin. This role focuses on the technical operation and safety of properties used by Supreme Federal Authorities. Day-to-day responsibilities involve executing Technical Building Management (TGM), ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing technical service providers. Key tasks include managing contracts, evaluating service performance, planning and implementing measures for smooth operation of technical building equipment, and preparing tender documents for national and European procurement. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree in fields like Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or Technical Facility Management, coupled with professional experience in engineering-level roles, focusing on optimizing technical systems and ensuring operational efficiency.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical university degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or Bachelor's) in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, Supply Engineering, Technical Facility Management, or a comparable field; or a comparable qualification (e.g., state-certified Technician with relevant experience).
Experience
- Professional experience at an engineering level (required for Technicians)
- At least three years of relevant professional experience on an engineering level (if holding a Technician qualification)

Additional
- Civil servant status (Besoldungsgruppe A 11 BBesG) or equivalent public sector pay grade (Entgeltgruppe 11 TVöD Bund) is referenced.
