Job Summary

This role involves supporting and independently managing IT solutions and processes for one of Brandenburg's largest regional bus companies, regiobus Potsdam Mittelmark GmbH. The IT Specialist will be crucial in administering and monitoring core operational systems, including the computer-aided operational control system and the ticketing system, requiring specialized knowledge in public transport IT infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include installing hardware and software, troubleshooting IT issues for employees, creating comprehensive documentation, and collaborating on IT projects with various departments. The ideal candidate holds a completed IT qualification, possesses excellent knowledge of public transport ticketing and control systems, and is proficient in MS Office, Windows Server, and networking fundamentals.
