The IT Security Consultant will be instrumental in maintaining a secure and future-proof IT infrastructure, serving as the primary contact for initial IT and information security inquiries. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting audits, analyzing security incidents, developing and updating critical security concepts, policies, and work instructions, and continuously driving process improvements. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or a related field focusing on security, coupled with practical experience in IT operations, network systems, and routine application of standards such as ISO 27001 or IT-Grundschutz.
