This role offers an engaging opportunity for an experienced IT Service Technician to join the Onsite Support team in Wuppertal, focusing primarily on 2nd Level Support activities. The core responsibilities include acting as the main point of contact for issues related to FPC/MPC systems, managing error reports, coordinating maintenance, and handling equipment exchanges. A critical function involves organizing the technical conversion from Full Process Control (FPC) to Managed Process/Platform/Cloud (MPC), ensuring all necessary network prerequisites are established. Candidates must possess a completed IT qualification, such as an IT Specialist, coupled with proven experience in 2nd Level troubleshooting for both hardware and software issues. Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office suites is mandatory, alongside business-fluent German (B2 minimum) and good English skills.
