As a DBRE Site Reliability Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing the reliability and performance of STACKIT's database services. Your daily tasks will involve implementing best practices for database products, ensuring continuous learning from incidents to improve monitoring, and collaborating with colleagues to minimize production outages and develop effective resolution strategies. A key aspect of your role will be to ensure the scalability of database services for both internal and external clients within the Schwarz Group. This position is ideal for a cloud enthusiast with a passion for tackling technical challenges, offering the opportunity to contribute to building a secure, independent European cloud infrastructure. You will leverage your experience with relational or NoSQL databases, technical skills in Golang and Kubernetes, and strong analytical and communication abilities to solve complex problems and explain technical concepts clearly. The role emphasizes continuous learning and staying updated with new technologies to maintain a cutting-edge database infrastructure.
