Job Summary

This role is a crucial link between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT), focusing on the secure and high-performance integration of hardware and software within industrial and logistics facilities for the Schwarz Group. The successful candidate will define architectural standards for industrial environments, evaluate and integrate new technologies, hardware platforms, and operating systems, and manage kernel, driver, and system configurations. Key responsibilities also include security hardening, patch management for embedded devices, and providing expert consultation to project teams on the selection and security of industrial gateways, sensors, and controllers. This position requires deep technical knowledge in embedded programming, industrial protocols, and Linux systems, offering a challenging opportunity to optimize business processes through robust IT solutions.
