Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping the future of industrial automation within a large corporate group as part of an interdisciplinary IT/OT team. The successful candidate will define and develop company-wide automation and safety standards, evaluate new technologies and trends, and successfully implement complex retrofit and brownfield projects aimed at modernizing existing systems. Key responsibilities include establishing best practices for secure and efficient Operational Technology (OT) system integration, supporting various projects and locations, and conducting training on functional safety, OT security, and automation architectures. The ideal candidate possesses a technical degree or background in automation/electrical engineering, strong expertise in PLC programming (e.g., TIA Portal, Rockwell, Beckhoff), and proficiency in both German and English.
