DevOps Engineer for Developer Workspaces | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves acting as a DevOps Engineer, focusing on the operation and continuous development of standardized developer workspaces for approximately 700 IT employees, supporting the company's modern software development strategy, which emphasizes faster implementation, continuous functional expansion, and microservices. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical and functional ownership of about 20 development tools, including IntelliJ IDE, Docker Desktop, and Backstage. Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining standardized workspaces across Linux, MacBooks, and Windows, packaging and distributing software, and providing expert support and consultation to developers. Key requirements include a degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, strong experience with automation tools like Terraform and Ansible, and familiarity with agile methods such as Scrum and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
