Job Summary

This role is for an experienced and highly motivated IT specialist focusing on Cloud Engineering and Architecture, specifically within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As part of the Google Cloud VM Platform team, you will be responsible for building and operating a Terraform-based infrastructure to enable simple and automated workload migration. Day-to-day tasks involve designing, supporting, and operating cloud architectures, continuously improving the GCP platform (focusing on Compute Engine), and creating standardized concepts for cloud-based infrastructures. You will work in an agile, interdisciplinary team, prioritizing requirements, consulting technical product owners on cloud benefits, and establishing standardized processes. This position requires strong expertise in Public Cloud environments, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, and proficiency in Linux/Windows server administration, offering significant opportunities for professional development and cloud certification.
