Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the goal-oriented and results-driven implementation of programs, such as equipping railway stations with passenger information systems, ensuring they are managed efficiently and sustainably while meeting economic, quality, legal, and customer requirements. The Program and Project Management Officer will oversee the successful rollout of bundled projects through effective multi-project management, focusing on consistent and transparent overall data maintenance. Key responsibilities include providing technical guidance and supporting local project managers in coordinating suppliers, developing new control instruments, and refining existing monitoring tools and KPIs. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Engineering, Business Informatics, or Economics, coupled with extensive professional experience in project management and a strong methodological background in process control and optimization. This position offers the opportunity to significantly contribute to the modernization of approximately 1,800 railway stations by 2030, transforming them into attractive, sustainable mobility hubs for the Deutsche Bahn Group.
