Project Manager, Route Construction | Projektleitung (m/w/d) Streckenbau

Job Summary

This role involves taking autonomous responsibility for managing new construction, expansion, and maintenance projects related to traffic facilities and associated civil engineering infrastructure. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project management and control, ensuring strict adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and risk management protocols. Key daily tasks include supervising external engineering firms, handling engineering contracts (including drafting, procurement preparation, and invoice review), and leading site preparation and local construction management for complex projects like expansions and renovations. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Road Construction or equivalent experience, possessing deep technical knowledge in road construction standards (HOAI, VOB, HVA-B-StB) and familiarity with BIM methodology. Strong German language skills (Fluent/C2) and proficiency in MS Office and specialized accounting software like iTWO are essential for success in this demanding, yet rewarding, infrastructure role.
