Job Summary

This role within the Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems (WTE) team at Apple seeks a highly qualified and motivated Embedded Software Development Engineer to craft and develop new debug features for embedded systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, documenting, developing, maintaining, and owning key debug features, while also supporting the embedded systems developer community in utilizing these features effectively. The engineer will collaborate closely with Hardware teams, engaging in discussions with designers, driving new feature sets, and optimizing solutions while maintaining an understanding of overall system behavior and constraints. The ideal candidate possesses expert experience in embedded software development using C, C++, and Assembly, along with deep knowledge of CPU architectures (ARM, RISC-V) and debugging tools (JTAG, LLDB/GDB).
