Job Summary

This hands-on role involves crucial work within copper and fiber optic networks. The technician will be responsible for switching transmission paths, performing commissioning measurements, and setting up secondary network components and devices according to order specifications. Key daily tasks include parameterizing and commissioning small devices, precise documentation of work performed, and rapid troubleshooting of faulty operating resources and transmission paths. The role also requires coordinating schedules, preparing work, and instructing external personnel on site and safety regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a completed qualification as an Electronics Technician for Information and Systems Technology, coupled with practical experience in assembling fiber optic and telecom cables, and extensive knowledge in parameterizing telecommunications equipment. This position requires a high degree of independence and includes participation in on-call service.
