Job Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled IT Technician to join one of Europe's leading IT service providers, supporting a major client (Dataport). The core responsibilities involve hands-on network infrastructure management, including the installation, configuration, and rollout of network hardware, specifically Cisco devices (Cisco Cat 2960x, 3850, 3560cx, C9200/9300/9500, 2960CX, C8K). The technician will be responsible for patching fiber optic (LWL) and copper cables, managing the disposal of old equipment, and coordinating installation appointments with clients and external service providers. Key qualifications include a completed vocational training in IT System Integration or equivalent, proven experience with network hardware configuration and patching, and familiarity with standard hardware and Cisco systems.
