Job Summary

This Information Manager role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and accessibility of project documentation throughout the entire product lifecycle. Key daily tasks include directing, filing, and maintaining all project documentation and information using a central database, creating status lists and reports, and delivering complete documentation packages to customers and subcontractors at defined project milestones. The manager will monitor document statuses, changes, and release procedures, and support project, configuration, and product assurance management to ensure reproducible product development and documentation. The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in Engineering, Information Management, Business Administration, or Computer Science, possesses profound knowledge of documentation and information management methods, and has experience with PDM/PLM tools and their implementation. Success in this position requires strong data analysis skills, proficiency in MS Office, excellent written and spoken English, and a structured, self-reliant working style.

Required Skills

Education

Academic degree in Engineering, Information Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Experience with documentation management tools
  • Experience with PDM/PLM tools and their introduction
  • General project experience, especially interacting with customers and subcontractors (desirable)
