Job Summary

This role seeks a (Senior) Business Expert in Occupational Pensions to drive the strategic development and management of employee benefits across Commerzbank AG, its domestic subsidiaries, and international branches. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting continuous market analyses, identifying trends, and translating these insights into actionable strategies for occupational pension schemes (bAV). You will serve as the key contact for complex topics such as bAV insolvency protection, age part-time working arrangements, and the internal trust model. A crucial part of the role involves coordinating actuarial reports with the accounting department for annual financial statements and supporting strategic corporate changes, including M&A integration management and due diligence procedures. The ideal candidate brings several years of relevant experience, profound knowledge of the German Pension Act (BetrAVG), and related labor, tax, and social security laws. Success requires strong communication skills, a high degree of initiative, and the ability to confidently engage with internal and external stakeholders up to the management level, all while contributing to a small, agile, high-performing team environment.
