Job Summary
As a Cloud Engineer GCP within the Operations Engineering team at Commerzbank, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous availability and operational excellence of the Google Cloud Platform and its associated services. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification; or vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT operations or cloud engineering
- Practical experience with Public Cloud platforms, specifically GCP and Azure
- Mandatory Associate Certification in a relevant cloud platform
- Experience in designing, planning, and implementing cloud-native solutions
- Proven experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code workflows
- Experience in scripting and automation for cloud environments
Languages
Additional
- Must hold at least an Associate level Cloud Certification. Position starts on April 1, 2026. Role requires an agile mindset and strong analytical/organizational skills.
