Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the highest quality standards for modern electric and diesel-electric locomotives manufactured in the Munich-Allach plant, from initial commissioning through to customer handover. The Commissioning Technician will independently execute commissioning tasks according to defined test plans, conduct test drives on the factory track, and perform detailed fault analysis and rectification. Key duties also include conducting maintenance, modification, repair, and modernization work, as well as providing customer instruction during acceptance tests. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, possesses strong knowledge of electrical fault finding, and is comfortable working in a two-shift model and undertaking national and international assignments. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable field. Further training as a Technician or Master Craftsman is ideal.

Experience

  • Multi-year experience in commissioning rail vehicles (ideally)
  • Professional experience in electrical fault finding
  • Experience working in a two-shift model
  • Willingness to undertake temporary assignments nationally and internationally
