Job Summary

The German Cancer Research Center is seeking a Bioinformatics Data Engineer to join the Junior Research Group 'Developmental Origins of Pediatric Cancer' from September 2025. This role is crucial for generating and standardizing data analysis pipelines for various computational tasks, including mutation calling, RNA-seq analysis (bulk and single-cell), and ChIP-seq/Cut&Run datasets. The engineer will also be responsible for large-scale data integration, developing user-friendly applications for data exploration, and collaborating on data analysis with PhD students and postdocs.
