Job Summary

This role involves supporting and developing the computer laboratories and IT infrastructure, including the server landscape (Microsoft Windows / Linux) within the Business Informatics lab complex. The Laboratory Engineer will be responsible for problem analysis, troubleshooting, and ensuring the correct functionality and utilization of lab equipment. Key duties include supporting students, staff, and researchers in using IT lab resources, implementing data and information security criteria, and creating comprehensive technical documentation and configuration records. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, possesses strong practical experience in Active Directory, networking, virtualization (VDI), and server administration, and is proficient in both German and English technical language.
