Job Summary

This challenging and responsible role as a Scientist in Diagnostic Molecular Pathology involves supervising and evaluating complex molecular analyses, including Next Generation Sequencing (DNA/RNA), digital PCR, and Sanger sequencing, culminating in the creation of comprehensive molecular pathology reports. The role is crucial for establishing new diagnostic procedures and involves active participation in the molecular tumor board and laboratory organization. Key requirements include a completed university degree in Biology, Biosciences, Biomedicine, or Biochemistry, coupled with a mandatory doctoral degree (PhD). While methodological experience with NGS analyses is desirable, the role offers excellent opportunities for professional development, scientific engagement within the institute, and active participation in the education and supervision of medical and biomedical students, all within a supportive, interdisciplinary environment.
