Job Summary

The Enzkreis District Administration is seeking a dedicated IT System and Network Administrator to manage and maintain its complex IT infrastructure within the Office for IT and Digitization. This role is crucial for ensuring the organization's innovative capacity and future viability. Day-to-day responsibilities include the conception, configuration, and operation of the entire network infrastructure, encompassing LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and data center operations. A key focus will be on planning and operating cross-site firewall systems, managing network security components, and maintaining active network devices such as switches and routers. Candidates must possess practical experience in network planning and operation, profound knowledge of network technology, and familiarity with Cisco components (ideally Cisco ACI), Active Directory, and virtualization platforms like VMWare and Proxmox.
