Job Summary

This leadership role involves managing the 'IT Infrastructure and Schools' department within the Office for IT and Digitalization, ensuring the county administration maintains its innovative capacity. The successful candidate will lead the IT Service Desk, coordinate IT support for infrastructure and county schools, and optimize the IT infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Key responsibilities include planning and operating server, datacenter, network (LAN/WLAN/WAN), and telecommunications infrastructure, managing projects, and developing change and process management strategies. The position requires a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, extensive IT knowledge, multi-year leadership experience, and expertise in IT law, compliance, data protection, and cybersecurity, coupled with fluent German proficiency.
