The j-fiber GmbH, a leading European provider and Germany's sole industrial manufacturer of optical glass fibers, is seeking a Fiber Measurement Technician to join their Quality Assurance team. This role is crucial for maintaining high product standards for data transmission fibers used globally, particularly in modern data centers. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating and loading fiber spools onto measurement devices, accurately documenting test results, performing visual final inspections according to specifications, and preparing fibers for packaging. The technician will also be responsible for reporting and potentially resolving measurement device malfunctions and ensuring equipment cleanliness. Key requirements include technical understanding, manual dexterity, basic IT skills, and a willingness to work in a three-shift system. Previous experience in quality assurance is a plus.
