Job Summary

This role requires an expert IT Service Manager specializing in SAP License and Compliance Management within a complex banking environment. The core mission involves ensuring all SAP licenses (On-Premise and Cloud) are managed economically, compliantly, and audit-ready. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing sustainable license governance, managing True-Ups, Renewals, and license negotiations, and establishing transparency over cloud-based models (BTP, SAC, SuccessFactors) including forecasting and cost analysis. The manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining the Enterprise License Position (ELP) and driving automation using SAM tools like Snow and Flexera. Success is measured by KPIs such as compliance rates and cost savings, requiring strong collaboration with Procurement, Finance, Audit, and SAP Operations to maintain regulatory compliance (ICS/SOX, EBA/ECB). This position is ideal for a professional with deep SAP licensing knowledge and a focus on financial and regulatory integrity.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in MINT (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology), Business Informatics, or comparable qualification (e.g., IT/Banking training with a focus on Licensing or SAM)

Experience

  • 4-5 years in Software Asset Management (SAM/ITAM) focusing on SAP licensing
  • Professional experience in large corporate or banking environments
  • Experience managing True-Ups, Renewals, and license negotiations
  • Experience with SAM tools (Snow, Flexera, ServiceNow, Voquz samQ)
  • Experience with S/4-Transformations, RISE with SAP, or BTP-Integration
