Job Summary

The Senior Quantitative Genetics Scientist will drive the development, implementation, and refinement of quantitative genetics innovations within the product design pipeline, focusing on enhancing germplasm cohorts aligned with product concept goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing the technical strategy for quantitative genetics, supporting Precision Breeding projects, and applying strong technical expertise in programming and deploying models for breeding program optimization. This role requires collaboration with multifunctional, global teams across various regions (NA, LATAM, APAC) to boost genetic progress and product performance in at least one crop. The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Quantitative Genetics or a related field with relevant experience, or a Master's degree with extensive experience in developing quantitative genetics methods for routine use in breeding programs.
