Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to bridge system architecture and software implementation, specifically focusing on requirements engineering within complex systems, potentially related to underwater autonomy. The Requirements Engineer will be responsible for evaluating and implementing software development activities based on established software architecture, reducing complexity through decomposition, and creating detailed specifications at the system, component, and unit levels using DOORS. Key duties include assessing the overall architecture regarding timelines, quality, and cost, coordinating tasks and resolving issues within the development team, and supporting work package planning and execution. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience, coupled with extensive professional background in C++ software development and deep expertise in SMART requirements creation and the DOORS tool.
