Job Summary

This role involves the professional commissioning, testing, and measurement of railway Command and Control Signaling (CCS) technology components, covering both external trackside elements and associated internal modules in the greater Stuttgart area. The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for uploading software onto internal components, conducting comprehensive functional tests, and creating structured procedural plans to ensure complete system verification. A key part of the job involves supporting customer acceptance processes, actively participating in necessary testing and coordination, and meticulously preparing complete, traceable test documentation. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of professional experience following an electrical engineering apprenticeship and be prepared to travel regularly to customer sites for independent commissioning work. Knowledge of railway technology, specifically CCS, is beneficial, and routine handling of PC and network components is required.

Experience
