Job Summary

This role involves supporting the commissioning of railway control systems in accordance with customer specifications, quality standards, ESD requirements, and internal testing regulations. The Testing Assistant will work closely with the responsible commissioning engineer, focusing on the external systems (trackside equipment). Key responsibilities include identifying and documenting optical and mechanical defects on external components, performing measurements and conformity checks on Control and Safety Technology (CST) external systems, and ensuring their correct function. Candidates must have successfully completed at least a two-year electrical engineering apprenticeship and possess a meticulous, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work. High willingness to travel is required to conduct commissioning at customer sites. Routine handling of PCs and network components is necessary, and knowledge of rail technology, particularly CST, is beneficial.
