Job Summary

This role seeks a Staff Backend Engineer to join the platform engineering team at SAP LeanIX, focusing on architecting, developing, and leading secure, scalable identity and access management integrations with core SAP services. Day-to-day, you will drive the integration with SAP Cloud Identity Services, implementing Identity Provisioning via SCIM 2.0 APIs, and ensuring seamless Single Sign-On (SSO) using OpenID Connect and SAML 2.0. A key responsibility is providing technical leadership and mentorship, driving architectural decisions for platform services at a global scale, and collaborating across teams to establish best practices. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in platform services like authentication and user provisioning, strong proficiency in Java/Kotlin microservices, and a production-focused mindset emphasizing reliability, observability (Grafana, Prometheus), and modern CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) within an Azure/Kubernetes environment.
