Job Summary

This is an exciting, permanent opportunity for an experienced Shift Leader to join the Powder Technology sector in Cologne. The primary responsibilities include the leadership and coordination of the shift team, ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of production processes. Day-to-day tasks involve rigorous monitoring of production, ensuring quality standards are met, assisting with troubleshooting and disruption elimination, and maintaining accurate documentation and reporting of production data. A key component of the role is training and onboarding new team members. Candidates must possess completed vocational training in chemistry or a related field, strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, and ideally, prior experience with powder technologies. Essential soft skills include leadership capability, team motivation, flexibility, and excellent communication. The position offers a competitive hourly wage (€20.42 to €22.69 plus shift bonuses) and the stability of a permanent contract, requiring flexibility to work within a three-shift system.
