Job Summary

This role seeks an engaged Chemical Laboratory Technician in Burscheid to perform critical wet-chemical analyses and testing. Daily tasks involve conducting tests on chroming electrolytes, phosphating solutions, and degreasing baths, as well as analyzing foundry materials for composition (clay, carbon, water) and grain size distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting results, calibrating and monitoring laboratory equipment, and supporting the team in project work, new procedure development, and release processes. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification (e.g., Chemical Laboratory Technician or Assistant) and initial relevant professional experience. Proficiency with standard laboratory equipment and IT systems is required, along with a careful and flexible working style. This position offers a permanent employment contract, a strong starting wage of €20.99 per hour plus supplements, and comprehensive benefits under the START-NRW collective agreement.
