Job Summary
This role is for an experienced HiL/SiL Test Engineer specializing in the testing of Automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs), such as charging inlets, Power Distribution Units, and Smart Charging ECUs, within the e-mobility sector. Day-to-day responsibilities include the independent creation of test plans and test cases, ensuring compliance with critical automotive standards (ISO 16750, ISO 26262, etc.), and configuring complex HiL/SiL systems using the Vector toolchain (vTeststudio, CANoe). The engineer will also be responsible for automated control of test equipment, thorough analysis of test results, defect tracking in Polarion, and active participation in defect review committees. This position offers the opportunity to drive innovation in high-voltage systems for e-mobility within a dynamic, international family company, utilizing expertise in test automation and automotive communication protocols.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable field
Experience
- Several years of experience in HiL/SiL testing within the automotive environment
- Professional experience in test automation and configuration of complex test systems
- Professional experience with Defect Tracking and error analysis
- Professional experience in automated control of test equipment
