Job Summary

This role, based in Göttingen, is a fixed-term contract covering maternity and parental leave starting April 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting crucial microbiological tests on pharmaceutical products in accordance with Ph.Eur/USP standards. Key duties include verifying microbiological test methods, preparing culture media, performing growth controls, and executing preservative efficacy tests. The position requires strict adherence to GMP documentation standards and participation in hygiene monitoring sampling for both internal and external clients. Candidates must possess a completed apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician (Biology) or BTA qualification, coupled with professional experience in microbiological testing, strong IT skills, and a reliable, flexible, and service-oriented approach to work within a leading European contract manufacturer.
