Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the operational readiness and maintenance of critical cable infrastructure for DB InfraGO AG in the Berlin area. As a Service Technician, you will independently conduct maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on copper and fiber optic (LWL) cables, strictly adhering to current regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include working through assigned orders, updating and creating system documentation for modifications and new constructions, and utilizing a company vehicle for travel, starting and ending your workday from home within a local deployment area. The ideal candidate has a background in telecommunications, such as an IT System Electronics Specialist or Communications Electronics Specialist, and is prepared to participate in a long-term planned on-call rotation after initial training. This position offers a secure, permanent contract within a future-oriented corporation, providing essential services to Germany's infrastructure.
